Dementia Friendly

The show has been working hard to improve signage and train our volunteers and we are working towards being Dementia Friendly.  Look out for people with the blue flower, as they'll be looking to assist visitors to ensure they have a wonderful day.

We have over 200 toilets available on show day.  Some in the main car parks and also just inside the two main entrances.  Most are the familiar portaloos' but we also have two trailer units with flushing toilets and running water facilities. To save queing for our male visitors we have mens urinals on site in most locations. As a member you will have the use of our executive trailer facilities, it's worth considering upgrading for the day for only £10 at the secretarys office..

Childrens Facilities

Baby Changing, microwave and breast feeding facilities, are situated inside our Childrens marquee with the creche and childrens activities. Lost children may also be brought here.

Come and join our great friendly team for lots of fun and games. They will provide soft play, arts and crafts, toys and games.

Situated in the Childrens Area behind the members marquee.

Disabled Facilities

Disabled car parks will be clearly signposted on the day of the show. There is NO disabled parking on the actual showfield, all disabled parking is within the member's car park. At all toilet areas, indicated on show field map (available on show day) there will be a disabled ‘portaloo’ toilet facility.

For disabled changing facilities, please speak to us at the Secretarys Office. . At present, there is no designated disabled viewing area.

For people of limited mobility the rough terrain can become slippy and uneven, the show field is very spread out and a lot of walking is required. The show does not have any 'mobility' scooter facilities, if you do bring your own please note that the show field does get very congested at times.

Carers refunds are available. The carer will receive the refund of their ticket, the person they are caring for does not get a refund.  Carers must pay full price at the entrance gate then go to the secretary’s office to produce proof of being a carer and complete a ‘carers refund request form’.
