The Northumberland County Show is held on the Bank Holiday Monday 31st May 2010. At Tynedale Park, Corbridge, NE45 5AY
The show opens to the public at 9:0am and closes at 6pm (some of the equine classes start at 8am - one gate will be open to the public from 8am to allow those wishing to enter early the opportunity to do so).
How to get to the show
The Northumberland County Show is held at Tynedale Park, Corbridge, NE45 5AY on the south side of the village of Corbridge - approximately 15 miles west of Newcastle and 4 miles east of Hexham.
TYNEDALE PARK IS SITUATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE RIVER AT CORBRIDGE.
THE SHOW WILL BE SIGNPOSTED BY THE AA (YELLOW) FROM THE A69 AND A68 TRUNK ROADS.
By Train - The nearest railway station is Corbridge, which is within 200 m of the site. This is on the Newcastle to Carlisle line. Train times can be found at www.northernrail.org
By Bus - Bus routes to Corbridge on 31st May are Route 85, connecting with Route 658; and Route 602. These routes will run to the normal Sunday timetable. The Hadrian’s Wall bus Route AD122 also passes through Corbridge during the summer months.

Family Visitors
Here are some additional tips that may help you to plan your day.

Baby Changing and breast feeding facilities are situated inside the Kids 1st marquee with the creche and childrens activities. Located adjacent to the fairground rides in area K. Marked on the map as the creche and lost children marquee.
Come and join the Kids 1st team for lots of fun and games in the new Creche. They provide soft play, arts and crafts, games and changing and feeding area. You can take time out to enjoy the show whilst your children are being well cared for by their fully qualified nursery staff. For children up to the age of 8.
Also the ideal spot to feed or change a baby in privacy and comfort.
We have numerous toilet blocks all over the Show - these are cleaned regularly.
The Northumberland County Show can be a long day for young children, there are many areas where you can sit and relax.
It wouldn't be the the Show without the chance to touch or stroke the animals - hand wash stations are provided where contact with livestock is allowed.
There are plenty of spots to picnic - make it that bit more special with some naughty but nice treats from our Food and Drink TASTE Event.
Wear comfy shoes! The County Show is a long day for little feet and comfy shoes are well advised
